About Patricia's of Hilton Head

THE STORE
Established in 1984, Patricia's has moved recently to a bigger and better location at The Village at Wexford next to Subway. Patricia's specializes in quality clothing at moderate prices for both missy and generous sizes. Patricia attends specialty clothing and accessory shows in both New York and LA to bring the newest fashions looks to the store. Her motto is, "Patricia's -- where you won't find the same old thing." Being a plus woman herself, Patricia understands the clothing concerns of the generous woman. You can be assured that your choices from Patricia's will be a perfect fit. As merchandise moves quickly through Patricia's, check this website often to see what's new!

THE OWNER
Having grown up in upstate New York, Patricia decided it was time to move ten years ago to a place where there is no snow -- Hilton Head Island, S.C. Prior to buying Patricia's (yes, the 2nd Patricia to own the store!), Pat worked selling computer software for 14 years after obtaining her MBA from Syracuse University. A flair for clothing and color coupled with a passion for travel have offered Patricia a love for the business. This is reflected in the items selected by her to sell in her store and on this site.

OUR TOWN
Hilton Head Island is just off the coast between Charleston, S.C. and Savannah, Georgia. Captured by the Union Army early in the Civil War, it was the site of one of the first large settlements of freed slaves. In more modern history, the island belonged to several families who used it for hunting and logging. Resort development began in the late 1950's and early 1960's and continues unabated. Currently, the island had 30,000 permanent residents and over 2 million visitors every year who come for the spectacular beaches, golf and tennis.
